Dr. Horton lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Lori, who was his high school sweetheart. They have been married for more than 25 years and have three children. Both Dr. Horton and Lori grew up in Southern California and, after completing his dental education at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine, they made Northern Colorado their home. They have loved raising their family here and have come to think of Colorado as home.

As a dentist, Dr. Horton believes that good dentistry starts with listening. His goal is to provide high-quality, honest care while taking a thoughtful and conservative approach to treatment. He believes patients should understand their options and feel comfortable making decisions about their own care—not feel pressured into treatment they don’t need.

He takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options in a clear and straightforward way, and work together to develop a plan that fits their individual needs and goals. For Dr. Horton, building trust is just as important as providing excellent dentistry. He hopes that over time, his patients will feel less like patients and more like people he genuinely knows and cares about.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Horton enjoys spending time with Lori, their children, family, and friends. He has always loved music and spends much of his free time playing guitar and drums, writing and recording music, and making music with friends.

Above all, Dr. Horton wants his patients to feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. He is grateful for the opportunity to care for families throughout Northern Colorado and looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
